Bio

Rooted in a deep connection to the natural world, Sarah is a Squamish-based multimedia artist and educator whose work translates ecological storytelling into hand-crafted design. Her linocuts and hand-stamped compositions bring texture and thoughtful detail to her nature-driven subjects.

She draws inspiration from a childhood spent exploring BC’s parks and gardens, later shaped by the biodiversity of the West Coast. Her work captures the intricacies of local ecosystems, often infused with subtle humour.

Now based on Sḵwx̱wú7mesh land, her inspiration is found in both teaching and time spent outdoors. Whether carving, painting, or exploring with her partner and dog, her work remains grounded in observation, craft, and appreciation for place.
